A Christmas Project - Collage Quilting

What a fun and creative way to relax and spend time during the Christmas holidays by working on a quilting collage. It’s called Winter Cardinal, a pattern in which I purchased from Emily Taylor, Collage Quilter.

The collage technique is where you disregard all of the rules of quilting, allow yourself to be free and let your imagination soar. Collages are formed by shapes, color and value to create depth and realism of the pattern. I describe it as fabric painting!
