It has been such a joy teaching my 10 year old great-niece the art of quilting. London has a natural ability to learn new techniques with crafts. Her first love is crochet where she is proficient with reading crochet patterns and being comfortable with the crochet hook and yarn. When she became interested in quilting, I knew that she would grasp the techniques and instruction quickly by her proficiency with crochet.

London is working this summer on a Nine-Patch quilt while learning to use a sewing machine for the first time. Stay tuned for her first quilt!

By the way she is excited to see me quilt it on my Gammill Statler Ascend Long Arm machine. I am excited, too! ❤️
