Over the past year, I worked through all 148 training video modules as I learned to operate and understand my Gammill Statler Ascend Longarm machine. I have now completed all of the modules and have quilted approximately 12 quilts.

I know there is still much to learn, and I plan to continue revisiting the modules as I grow in my longarm quilting journey.

Additionally, I attended the Gammill Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, September 2-5 2025. This educational training was a bit overwhelming for a new Statler Ascend Longarmer, however, I learned new things and met a great group of quilters.

I am currently contemplating spending additional money to attend the upcoming Quilting With Confidence 2026 Tour, as I would really appreciate more hands-on, proactive instruction. Since the venues typically have a limited number of longarm machines available, I am curious how much actual machine time participants receive. Hmmm…
