As a member of the Island Quilt Guild, we were challenged to create a quilt using an art panel. Because I have always loved the flying geese pattern, I chose to incorporate it into my quilt top to create a sense of movement and visual interest. I also added laser-cut fusible snowflakes, which beautifully enhanced the quilt’s winter theme. After quilting the piece with an Edge to Edge butterfly pantograph design, I completed it with the addition of more than five hundred Swarovski crystals for extra sparkle and elegance.

I look forward to snuggling up with my Christmas quilt by the fire for many holiday seasons to come.
