It is such a great joy teaching quilting to my great niece, London. Her attention to detail is spot on. She listens attentively to instruction and executes each task very well.

She is still working on her first quilt which is made up of 9-patch blocks. Today, I introduced her to paper piecing. When she saw that I was paper piecing her name to add into her quilt, she was excited to try the technique. She did a great job paper piecing the letter “N” to add to her name block.

Stay tuned as she should complete her quilt top within the next couple of weeks. We will take a trip to the fabric store so that she may pick out her backing and binding.

She is excited about seeing her quilt top get quilted on my Long Arm. She has decided that she wants and edge to edge butterfly design. It’s going to be beautiful! 🦋
