Thank you, Yvonne, for allowing me to quilt this beautiful quilt top that you created as a Christmas gift for your niece. I am sure she will treasure it for many years to come.
A temperature quilt is a quilt in which the fabric colors represent the temperature for each day of a year. Each day’s piece corresponds to the recorded temperature, creating a quilt that becomes a visual record of the weather throughout that year.
It was especially meaningful to commemorate the year of her birth with a temperature quilt. The vibrant and graphic colors reflect the daily high and low temperatures from her birth year, making the quilt both personal and memorable.
The quilting design used is Circles E2E 2, a pantograph designed by Karen of Wildflower Quilting.

Thank you Debra for the amazing job you did on the temperature quilt. Your idea for the quilting design was perfect. The circle pattern added so much to the overall look of the quilt. My niece loved it.
